Talk on What is Easy Reading? at the Eskoriatza Library
The Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon Unibertsitatea organized yesterday afternoon an informative talk on what is Easy Reading
The talk was organized in two sessions and was given by Nerea Aizpurua Iraola from the Lectura Fácil Euskadi Irakurketa Erraza project:
In the first one, students from the Degree in Early Childhood Education and Garagune Arrasate participated, where they explained their experience with easy reading. The Garagunes are spaces managed by the Fundación Goyeneche de San Sebastian, whose mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. In the second one, students from the Primary Education Degree participated.
The objective of the talk was:
- To make known the concept of Easy Reading and the materials as tools.
- To show how to generate materials in Easy Reading format.
- Literature in Easy Reading format and Easy Reading groups.
- Application and use of Easy Reading in the educational field.
