Goals

ZABALGARBI seeks to move towards data-driven business management and in this context MIK has worked with its own methodology on a diagnosis of analytical maturity and a definition of needs in the use and use of data within the company for the future. In addition, this allows us to establish a solid base of requirements for tackling a digitisation project. 

Thanks to the MIK methodology, a business diagnosis has been carried out from the point of view of data and information exploitation. This diagnosis includes the business needs that give rise to the different exchanges of information between the different organisational processes. A diagnosis has also been carried out from the data point of view, analysing the company's different IS and databases, as well as the information they contain and the quality of the data.

Before starting to define a roadmap, the needs of ZABALGARBI in each of the business processes were gathered and a benchmark was carried out to identify which benchmarks should be taken in each area.

Finally, a roadmap has been drawn up containing specific lines and projects for action in data Analytics to become a data-driven company. The roadmap considers the technical feasibility of the proposed solutions as well as the economic viability, importance and timeframe.

Thanks to the roadmap, it has been possible to define the specific requirements for requesting offers from technology suppliers before implementing a digitisation project, thus ensuring that the technology product contracted meets the needs set out in the roadmap.
