Goals
WEEE is growing at a rate three times higher than the rest of solid urban waste (SUW)- Some UN reports say that the figures for WEEE generation are close to 53.6 million tons a year. There are still currently many problems related with managing and revaluing it, like waste theft, illegal exports cannibalisation and handling in unauthorised plants.
- Develop an in-depth study about identifying and classifying WEEE
- Analysis of new circular business models to design and deploy a high-impact circular strategy in Gipuzkoa

- Creating company transformation processes to shift to circular business models in the entire value chain of business activity
- Transition the territory to WEEE management models that are more effective, efficient and environmentally sustainable, and promote the positioning of Gipuzkoa as an active leader in the circular economy
