GreenTechSkills: Green Employment and Gender Equality
Green employment and Green skills development for ecological, sustainable and just transition with a focus on gender equality.
Objectives
- Identify the main sources of green jobs in the territory and future trends, under the approach of gender equality.
- To analyze the training offer of the territory in terms of sustainability applied to business management and data analytics.
- Determine the GreenTech key competences associated with the green job profiles and positions in demand and the training offer in sustainability, considering the gender approach.
- Identify opportunities for the generation of new learning ecosystem derived from the green, sustainable and just transition considering gender equality as a transversal element.
- Design the proposal of a new learning ecosystem for the green, sustainable and just transition from the perspective of business management, data analytics and gender equality.
- Boost the contribution to the following SDGs:
- SDG4: Ensure inclusive, equitable and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
- SDG5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
- SDG8: Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.
- SDG10: Reduce inequality within and between countries.
- SDG12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
Contributing:
- IDENTIFYING the effects of the ecological transition on the creation of green jobs in the territory, considering GreenTech skills and gender equality approach.
- GENERATING information on green employment trends and the training offer in sustainability and data analytics, with emphasis on inclusion and gender equality.
- CONTRIBUTE to the creation of an innovative learning ecosystem that favors the development of GreenTech skills and fosters gender equality in key sectors of the green transition.
- EMPHASIZE the importance of gender equality and sustainability in the design of public policies and business strategies for inclusive and sustainable economic development.
- OPEN spaces for cross-sector collaboration between companies, educational institutions and social agents to promote gender equality in the transition to a greener and more sustainable economic model.
