Project
Innovation and Intra-Entrepreneurship Ecosystems
Goals
[Innovation Portfolio] On one hand, the goal is to develop a dynamic portfolio of opportunities, ideas and innovation projects that are prioritised and aligned with the organisation’s strategic focus points in collaboration. In three phases:
- Define the focus points in accordance with the organisation’s needs and strategy
- Discover opportunities and turn them into incipient project ideas
- Select and define projects to launch: process, product, service or business
[Business Validation] On the other hand, the goal is to start projects for developing business activities for the portfolio. In four phases:
- Learn about the competition environment
- Learn about the customers
- Develop the catalogue of solutions
- Develop the minimum viable product and validate it
A specialised ecosystem can be collaborated with for prototyping and validation to help the company’s business ideas be independent startups and not drown potential business with processes or internal culture and give them greater agility. In most cases, the workers who had the original idea are involved in the process. The specialised ecosystem can act as an externalised venture builder (excubator) and implement incubation and acceleration activities.
- The innovation portfolio holds all the organization’s assets in an orderly way.
- The excubator makes it possible for concepts to be tested without the risk that the corporation’s processes kill business ideas before they can be shown to be viable.
- The excubator makes it possible to deliver a minimum product in a lot less time.
